Shoko is an executive and leadership coach and co-founder of SHIFT Women's Leadership Training Program and known as a change agent. She paved the way as the first American Express Japan woman to take overseas leadership in Hong Kong, London and NY.
She is focusing on advancing minority female professionals through coaching discipline, combined with her 20-years experience leading and navigating the teams in complex organizations in multi-cultural environment, such as American Express and Aetna.
Shoko has an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. She is a holder of PCC International Coaching Federation (ICF) credential and Senior Practitioner and Senior Team Coaching Foundation level accredited by European Mentoring and Coaching Counsel(EMCC), and an ACE certified coach trained by David Peterson and David Goldsmith, and certified Global Team Coach trained by Peter Hawkins and David Clutterbuck.
She has certifications on Thomas International DISC assessment, Judgement Index assessment, Hogan assessment, Leadership Circle profile assessment, Facilitator of Creative Problem Solving, Cornell University's Diversity and Inclusion program, and Korn Ferry's Leadership Architect Competency Framework and 360 Feedback assessment.
